View Full Version : Cannot Connect message after soft reset

On recent mornings I've been puzzled why my 2210 screen has been showing the 'Cannot Connect' message. By watching it just now in its cradle I've established that this happens shortly after 00:30. This is when Pocket Backup has completed its nightly backup and does a soft reset. (Quite apart from preferring to see a clean Today screen, I'd like to stop this happening, because I'm pretty sure that one occasion it stopped an alarm coming on in the morning.)

Note that this is not due to the Inbox check every 15 mins (subject of an earlier enquiry). How would I isolate this one please? Or any immediate suggestions on likely cause?

Using iPAQ 2210 with WM2003.

I was having this same problem. I stoped the inbox from checking email every x min.'s. And it did fix the problem. EVEN when the inbox was not running, the today screen inbox status checked email.

MS has some very quirky ideas when it comes to connections, and connection managers. Someone over there needs to start using a pocket PC.
