Does anyone know if the 4155 footprint is the exact same as the 1900 series or 2200 series?

I ask because I want to order a vaja case for it- and I am not sure which footprint is the right one.

help! :)

It is nowhere near close enough to a 2215 to use a case for that model. You want a case for the 1900 series.

The 4155 is designed differently from the 1900 series so you probably want to wait for a 4000 series case.

Innpocket is supposedly working on an aluminum case for it.

That's not necessarily true! 1900 cases have been used successfully on 4150s. When I say successfully, I mean that people have used them and every cutout matches up, etc with the exception of IR, which very few people use anyways. Also the record button is slightly higher on the 4150, but again, not an issue for many people and still absolutely usable.

Even the innopocket aluminum case works with the 4150.

i've heard that the 1900 vaja case headphone jack cutout doesn't line up exactly with the 4150, otherwise, everything else fits with the exception of the IR port as palmguy mentioned earlier

Yeah, but I wouldn't spend all the money on a Vaja case that isn't perfect. They are kinda pricey for cases. Hopefully they put out a custom 4000 series out soon... with magnetic closure.
