I have an Ipaq 2210 I am also an IT Manager who has set up many a network fixed and wireless so the zero configuration on windows mobile 2003 should be easy. All I want is two bluetooth dialup connections one for dialup internet access one for access to the companies dialup network and I also want to have wireless access when I am at work for both company network and internet access. After setting up the dialup both work fine I click on the connection icon at the top of the today screen and I have a choice, great. Insert my wireless card at work and can connect to the company network, so far everthing going well.
Next day or a few days later (I say this because I have hard reset 3 or 4 times and still get the same results) click on connection icon on today screen and ony one connection option is shown or none. Go to the connection settings and depending on how the Ipaq is feeling the will show My ISP or My Bluetooth settings, Manage existing settings or as in most cases my connection dettings have gone, although they still show in the registry.

Am I missing something that the rest of the pocketpc users know and I don't ? I can always get around this by creating a new connection with a different name but it is a pain, my tungsten keeps whatever setting that is entered in but is not as usefull on a corporate network.
Please tell me i'm dumb and I am doing something wrong.

I don't have the answer, just this experience.

My iPAQ uses wifi and connects to my home linksys network perfectly. At work, our network administrator has tried several times to connect it and can not. Also, I have to delete the work settings to reconnect at home.

You would think they would have assumed multiple connection management.

Have you tried the PocketWinc software. It great at detecting and connecting to wifi networks. I realize wm2003 is supposed to be simple, but I've found that PocketWinc is simpler yet.
