Eitel and others - help with SRS todayplus

I just downloaded it and installed it on my ppc (1910). How do you set the weather for your area. Also, I don't want the calender option to be displayed via this program because I use Phuete for PI.

If anyone has general ideas on how to customize this program I would be anxious to hear it. I can't figure out where to make changes or use the options.

For the weather, just browse on your PPC to /Program Files/TodayPlus/ and open the config.txt file. Look for this lines:

city,1,60,xxxxxxx,Home,f
city,2,60,xxxxxxx,Home2,f

Now, go to weather.com and enter the name (not the zip code) of your city and click search. Look at the address that it gives out. In my case, I look for "Ypsilanti, MI", and the address is: http://www.weather.com/weather/local/USMI0904

Grab the USMI0904 and replace it in the config.txt line where the X's are in my example. You can do this with 2 cities or more depening on your skin.


For the POOM, you will need to get a skin without it.

I have got the weather all sorted out (I am in A2) right near you. Where do I get other skins - all I want is a skin with the weather and the battery bar. Where do I get other skins for this. Also, is there a good tutorial on how to customize the .txt file (do you have to copy it from your ppc and work on it on your desktop or is there a way to edit on the ppc).

Also, is there an official website to download it, I just found it on an obscure site.

The thread with all the explanations is over at Brighthand. We just started a board just for TodayPlus over at http://dark-mojo.com/TodayPlus . It open today, but all the people that were contributing to that thread is moving there, so you can ask there. There's also a link to a file that explains how the skins and configurations work.
