Got it 2 weeks ago from iocombo's ebay seller. $230.90 with shipping for 2.2 gigs. No wait for the drive to power up. A little bit of noise when it starts whirring, not big deal though. Data transfer is decent, not as fast as my older 512 mb CF card. Playback is fine, video quality from mpg or wmv with either pocket tv or wmp was fine. My biggest gripe would be power consumption. With the CF expansion pack plus I generally get 7-9 hours of usage, with the Magicstor I get about 4-5. I'll be buying the 1840 mah expansion battery to get more life from it. Definitely the right choice in terms of expansion. I was wrestling for about a month on whether to get a 1 gig CF card or 1 gig microdrive, went with the Magicstor, for about $0.10 a meg, without a doubt a great investment.

I know this is a little OT, but just making sure people consider this option for expansion.

Thanks for the the review. Anyone else tried this or have something similar to recommend?

The only cons about using microdrives is the power consumption and also prone to damage due to drops or being knocked around too hard. That's becuase they are just minature hard drives.

IMO, my H5555 has enough internal storage for apps and my 512Mb Sandisk is sufficient for my photo's and MP3s.
