Hi, I used to only be able to use my sharp for only 1hour, before needing to recharge. I have a wireless network card for work, but can never complete my tasks. I was getting fresturated, having not the option to change pocket pc's because I needed the Linux OS. I was searching on ebay one day and problem solved. Nifty little things called the battery extender. Charges and extends your batter life by as long as 10 hours if used with high capacity batteries.
Below, I post a link to their auctions, they have fast shipping and good quality product. It comes with stress relief and is the only battery extender on ebay that allows you to safely use alkaline batteries without dealing harm to your pocket pc. It works great, my bad days are over.

my friends also have a Dell Axim and a compaq Ipag, i noticed that on no pocket pc is the battery life extremely good. They all purchased from this company and are very satisfied. FAST 3-5 day shipping, in their feedback, one guy bought and paid through paypal on friday, they shipped saturday, and he recieved monday, carefully packaged and tested.
They will also replace free of charge any defects. PAYPAL is accepted along with money orders and personal checks, although need 7days to clear
