Hi,
I've been thinking of upgrading to palm reader pro, which comes with a free dictionary. that got me thinking that my last dictionary (real book) was bought when I was 13 years old....and an electronic one would be pretty cool.
I'm from the uk, so I'm looking for one in the queens english
Any thoughts or considerations?
As a bi-conversation, anyone whos upgraded to palm reader pro, is it worth it, and did you buy the agfa fonts...are they really better?

I use the Oxford Press Pocket Dictionary, Thesaurus, adn a few of their specialized dictionaries, all with Mobipocket(.com)'s Reader, and couldn't be happier. Of course, I'd like to have an American one, and they sell a $10 Websters (which seems "lite") and a ~$50 Websters, which I'd love ... if I had the disposable money.
The demos of the Oxford titles are great. You get a complete copy of hte reference ... for only 1 letter (e.g., "L"). No one else had such a convincing demo.

I like Laridian's Lexionary. It's rather amusing to see how different words are associated with one another. The current release (2.0) has at least one feature though that I wish it had -- tap-n-hold that would let me copy/paste into the word lookup field. Instead, you have to use the menu bar to copy.

That is a handy dictionary to use with MS Reader -- I have it installed, too -- but there are plenty of words I've come across that aren't defined in Microsoft's dictionary, but are defined in Lexionary.

Oh, the Pocket Encarta Dictionary. I've tried searching it directly (not contextual lookup from other ebooks), and it took forever. Once, I forgot the word I was looking up, it took so long. Zzzzzzz.
Stick with dictionaries which sport lookup indices instead. ;)
