I want to trade my x5 for an x3

Reasons for me wanting too.. are slimer profile, sdio, and the performance.

I dont understand why the x3 out performs the x5 400mhz x-scale by so much. in some cases its nearly twice as fast

For me its only one thing - size (though the integrated wifi is nice). I actually think the X5 is a better looking machine, just a little thick now that I have seen some of the smaller devices. And I never used both slots like I thought I would. SD only if plenty for me.

Not a chance, the X5 isn't being discontinued, if you send back your X5, you'll get another X5. Nice try though, smarta$$ :p

As for the difference in speed, I think it's the new OS, and the hardware being optimized for it. Plus it is a slightly better processor.

You arent going to get them to give you the x3, just not going to happen. Sounds like people who want to trade in their cell phones and get brand new free ones, duh! not happening. People and cell phones, that is another topic. I like the slimmer design of the x3 but I am not a dell fan. :wink:

Okay, here is a crazy, far-out idea that just might actually work: You could always sell (http://www.ebay.com) your X5 and put that money towards buying the X3!
