<div class='os_post_top_link'><a href='http://www.niteize.com/quick_draw.html' target='_blank'>http://www.niteize.com/quick_draw.html</a><br /><br /></div>Here's a neat variation on the <a href="http://www.iproductsonline.net/">iHolster</a>: a belt sleeve plus a strap so that you can quickly pull out your iPAQ and use it. I could see this being a nice combo in the field if you use your iPAQ frequently and have worried about dropping it when getting it off your belt.<br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/web/2003/parekh-20031014-NiteIze-QuickDraw.jpg" />

Wow! 8O A case that protects my screen, has a belt clip, fits in the sync cradle, and allows me to keep my WiFi card in. And, it looks like it'll be &lt; $35. I think I've finally found the perfect case for my 2215.

There also aren't too many cases that allow you to use your expansion packs at the same time. That's something novel.

I like this, very clever. I already have invested in those little button things that hook into a belt clip, car clip, whatever (see Krussel website for details.. or your local best buy for a cheaper version), and they work well.

Judging from the installation instructions visible on the enlarged photo of the packaging, this requires an expansion sleeve of some sort in order to work. It looks like the elastic straps go around the sleeve and then the iPAQ slides in. For those without an expansion sleeve of some sort, I wonder if a CoverPaq with the cover piece removed would work with this case.

yeesh..... could they have made it any more nerdy? Granted, this contraption is not for the majority of users, so I guess if this sort of functionality is something you crave, it fits the bill.

But wow, does that thing make you look like a dork.

Ipaq fast draw contest :-) Diamond Mine at 20 paces :2gunfire:

Seriously though, I wouldn't pull that out too fast, you'd most likely throw it across the room at warp speed :D

I should be offended by this comment but I'm not. I have been using this holster for almost a year now with my iPAQ 3830 and I think it is great. I have never had my ipaq fall out.

Agreed. The iHolster is a great product. I use it and live by it. I used to embarrass my little girl with it, but since I added the FreeSpeak earpiece last October, she quit worrying about the iHolster...

Doc,
The package shown here is not for the 2215. We do, however, make an iHolster for the 2215. Here is the link http://www.iproductsonline.net/catalog/iholster2200_2633937.htm

If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me.

Dave,

You are correct. An expansion sleeve is required to use the iHolster QuickDraw. And yes, you can use the CoverPaq in place of an expansion sleeve.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me.

So many times I see people saying things like the ScotteVest looks too geeky or things of that nature but yet we aren't a geek for carrying a pocket pc in the first place?? Just seems silly to me to not want to look like a geek yet about 90 percent of us who are on here ARE geeks. Anyway, I love this thing and it may be my next ppc related purchase. Pretty cool.

I am a card carrying (and PPC carrying geek and proud of it! Besides...it pays the bills!

Regards from Spokane,

I noticed your add in Pocket PC Magazine last week and I could not have been happier at the thought of having a iholster for my next PPC device (the 2210). Your company rocks, keep up the great work!

I thought the very same thing the moment I laid eyes on the picture.

Anyone who purchases this holster should FULLY expect pointing and snickers as you swagger through your office.

Okay, I may regret saying this, but some of you really need to grow up. What, are you in elementary school and have to point and laugh at the dorky looking kid in math class? So you wouldn't use or wear something like this. We get it.

Just because a product isn't useful or attractive to you doesn't mean it doesn't suit someone else's needs perfectly. A friend of mine and I have been searching for months for a good, sturdy belt case that would allow him to carry his iPAQ 3755 with the PC Card Plus sleeve attached. For his line of work, something like this is perfect and he was really excited when I sent him the link.

You're supposed to be at least thirteen years old to post in this forum. Stop acting like children.
