What is the best bang for your buck for a color device that:

1. Has calender features
2. Contact management
3. Task management
4. Time consuming games
5. Can sync with Outlook

Working on a budget of $200-250. While I like the Pocket PC OS, I would give Palm OS consideration.

All pocketpc's have that. If you are trying to decide between the various pocketpc's out there, you will need to expand your criteria. Otherwise, if you only using the PIM features, a guess a cheap palm might be for you (accept Ive heard pocketpc games are better than palm games)

If you are not interested in bluetooth, the iPAQ h1930 series would be perfect for you. If you do want bluetooth, bump up to the h1940 series. They are the smallest PDAs currently available with ANY OS on it.

Just Wait for the Dell Axim X3 to come out. It will be one of the cheapest Pocket PC's out there and will contain all requirements in your list for a very cheap price.

I'd say Dell X3 or h1930

I highly recommend for you HP h1940, this sleek and small pocket pc comes with Bluetooth and good built-in memory; you’ll be pleased with it.

I agree the 1940 is awesome, but I don't think that coppertop really needs Bluetooth for what he wants... I think the slightly cheaper, less-featured iPaq 1930 would be a better fit.

There are some nice new POS devices from both Palm and Sony. It would be a good idea to check them out as well.

Over at Brighthand.com they have revews covering all the suggestions. They tend to be a bit biased towards Palm, but worth reading in anycase.

My personal view is that PPC gives more features for the money, but Palm has plenty of fans as well.

I personally recommend a ppc 1930. It has enough to do the things you want it to do. I have always felt like they had the nicer screens and were closer to your computer so when you buy and use it, it is just like being on your home computer. I have had a palm and never want to go back. It is still a good idea for you to check for yourself and of course make that final decision. You are in a pocket pc forum so we are more than likely to suggest ppc :) Back to a palm, I would recommend looking at the new Tungsten e which is the same price as the 1930. As I have alway said in this forums and others, hold the pda in your hand, test it out and the one that feels comfortable and is a part of you that you like, buy it:)
