I don't feel so attracted to it but is roughly $100 cheaper than the closest PPC available here (1910) that is also PPC2002

The V35 is a great PPC. One of my flat-mates picked one up a little while ago for about $230, I think. (Yeah, I know there are better machines for that price, but I don't have the heart to tell him that.) In any case, it's pretty snappy, light, and has a top-notch screen.

Just keep in mind that your memory is configured a little differently than most other PPCs. I think you get something like 36MB just for running programs, and then a lot of storage space.

So, it is 64MB of RAM like most PPCs, but just a little less flexible in terms of how you split that memory. If you're into games, pick up an X-Scale overclocker. I think the ones still being sold still have the PXA-250.

Can it be upgraded to WM2003? I mean, flawlessly.

Viewsonic claims you will be able to upgrade. There are even reports of an upgrade being available in other countries, but Viewsonic still states that the upgrade will not be aready until mid to late October in the US.

So to answer your question..according to viewsonic, yes the v35 will be upgradable to WM2003.
