<a href="http://www.bargainpda.com/default.asp?newsID=1669">http://www.bargainpda.com/default.asp?newsID=1669</a><br /><br />BargainPDA has a picture of a scanner for Pocket PCs that was taken at CEATEC Japan.<br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/hansberry/2003/20031009-fujitsuscanner.jpg" /><br /><br />"Something else from the show that may be of interest is a CF scanner from Fujitsu. This device will actually be produced, but it's unknown if it will be released in the US."<br /><br />Since it is from Fujitsu, it also remains to be seen if they generic drivers so it works on any Pocket PC or if they take the route HP did a few years ago with their CF camera and lock it to one device.

Neat, but how about we just get host ports on PPCs and drivers so we can use stuff like this, http://www.cardscan-store.com/travelscan.htm or even http://www.autarchic.com/?src=overture.

I think it is cool and certainly useful. I have always felt that FUjitsu was awesome and doing a great job. I have used their laptops and they are wonderful. I currently own a Sony Viao that sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!
When the next time comes around for a new laptop it will certainly be a Fujitsu!!:)

Please make it generic drivers. I have been wanting somthing like this for a long time. I know it won't be high quality but there is many times when I would like to have scaned a paper/picture.

one more reason to keep the dual-slot pda (loox, sd AND cf) and not get one of those fancy new pdas with sd-only.

Now this I could use! Very cool!
And I agree, just another reason why we still need dual-slot devices.

This is slick. I'd buy one for my IPAQ.
