my file store memery shows that part of it is in use. but when i go to file explorer it is not showing anything.. how do i get it to show everything that are stored under it? sorry if it's a stupid question...

i know some of it is used in the ipaq backup.. but the thing is i never really used that function... can anyone please shed some light?

I believe part of it may also be Nevo controller if this is a unit that has it loaded. Which means that you may have never done anything with it, but HP did. Not sure what iPaq you have, but that could be part of it. :mrgreen:

Not sure of the specs for a 1940, does it have the Nevo Remote Controller on it? If it does, part of that is located in the file store, and you probably won't see it. I'm looking at mine (2215) with the File Explorer, and Nevo has 3 folders in the file store for a total of .02 mb out of a total of 3.84 mb.

actually the 1940 doesn't come with Nevo...

more than half of the file store is "in use" but i have no idea what it's being used for... could anyone help me out with this...? :(

Hmm, if it is filled with hidden files, you should be able to view those if you turn on show hidden files.

If you are using Resco File Explorer (it came on the cd with the 1940) then go to the options, then to the Browser tab, and then select show hidden files.

If you are just using the native file explorer, then I believe the process is to click on emptly space, selece options (or something like that) and then show hidden files.

Hopefully then you will be able to see what is in there.

just went to file explorer and it's showing all files. i checked the size of the folder of ipaq file store (i use pocket explorer) and it has only 2 files with a total size of 400+k.

but when i go to memory in setting... it shows that 7.57 mb is in use...

what could have gone wrong..?
