Should I get a Wi-Fi Card?

I wanna go on the internet with my Axim, but I'm not sure if I'll have access to Wi-Fi where I live (West Bloomfield, Michigan... a suburb of Detroit). My school has a "mobil-lan" cart that has wi-fi for laptops, but I dont know how strong that is, and I don't know where else I could use it, I dont have a wireless home network or nething like that. Is there neone else in my situation who has found uses for Wi-Fi, if so tell me ur experiances

I'm using WiFi at home mainly for browsing the internet. Works really well for me. Also, I can use some of the wireless hotspots near my office without too much difficulty (although that costs a little)
