You know what? Someone should make a PDA painting kit. (I'm serious!)

Just think of it: the "Show me your today screen" threads grow to hundreds of posts long. People love customizing their Pocket PCs, putting their unique stamp on the OS. Besides that, people build custom PCs out of cardboard boxes, old game consoles, etc.

I say, why not combine the two and have a safe way to recolor and detail the chassis of your PDA? If only there was something you could use that would look like it was built that way--nobody wants to carry a PDA covered in furniture paint.

It reminds me of how cell phone covers can be changed. It sounds as ifyou are suggesting the same thing. Being able to change the front and back of your pda. I am not certain what kind of a market there is for this kind of thing. I prefer a faster processor, 1 gig, and the same in ram. That is just for starters:)

Some Palm models have removable face plates. I have sometimes wished they were available for PPC.
