Sorry about that! I provided no explanation as to what was needed to view the feed.
Did you try using a news aggregator?
I really like the two free aggregators:

Thanks for the feedback!

You've got a nice website with some nice info, but could you tone down the colors a bit? The orange is a bit hard to read on the white. Also, a lot of the link href's need to be fixed—your site isn't validating. And the navigation menu doesn't render correctly in Netscape 7.1 (and probably not in any other Gecko-based browser). Perhaps because your anchor class name has a space? They get all scrunched together, yet the hover effects (which are great, by the way) work beautifuly.
Thank for providing such a useful website. I've already found some really interesting freeware in your list.

You've got a nice website with some nice info, but...
Wow! Great feedback.
The colors are temporary for the rest of October, I've been tweaking the colors here and there. It used to be blue, which was definitely easier on the eye.
I will look into the validation. I was just thinking about removing that validation graphic earlier this week. I haven't re-verified since making some changes, and don't really need the graphic.
As far as the navigation menu not working, I will have to do a little research. I used the buttons from the following website: http://www.pixy.cz/blogg/clanky/cssinlinebuttons/ They say it should work based on the following quote right from their site
It should work everywhere. WinIE, MacIE, and Opera, which support inline-blocks, will use the width property and will display buttons at least as wide as the "width" says. Other browsers (Mozilla and Gecko-based browsers, Safari, Opera/Mac etc.) will treat buttons as inline elements, displaying them as wide as its content. Opera/Win uses strange paddings (the top padding is too small, the bottom one is too large).
I probably won't be able to do anything untill the weekend though.
Thanks again!

And I too am not feeling the orange/green - they are not complimentary colours and dont look right together. Also, I find that your webpage is a long scrolling one! Maybe you can split that into two pages?
I like the content, there is a lot up there :D

Ok...I get the hint :wink: I've removed the orange. I will be changing the green this weekend. Thanks for the feedback.

Believe it or not, I have been noodling this one for some time. I don't have a dynamic site and have been looking for a method of taking my database and pushing/importing it into an HTML template on my PC. Then, I could upload the files to the server. A dynamically static website! I am currently looking for free software to do this.
I like the content, there is a lot up there :D
I appreciate you ending on a positive note. :D

Much nicer, all of the greens. :D And it doesnt seem that you have a banner that tells me what the website is about, NK? I don't really know if that is biblical or what...

Good point...Hmmmm
It started as a personal website. Last month I started the mobile link portal and freeware updates. Obviously, I haven't given it much thought. Thanks for pointing this out.
I was thinking of buying an additional domain name. But, I haven't come up with the right one yet.
As far as the NK and banner go, that is one of my favorite biblical scriptures.

Right. That is where the barrier between you and me goes, you are religious, I am not. Also, you can turn your site into a huge Pocket PC place. That would be neat too, but if it is personal, then you can keep, lets say, a "personal page" that you can choose for the public to visit or not to visit.

I like the new colors a lot better. It's much easier to read now.
If you would consider replacing the entire navigation system, I'd like to recommend Douglas Bowman's sliding doors tabs (http://www.alistapart.com/articles/slidingdoors/) over at A List Apart. They render well in most browsers, but are scaleable. He uses some really cool CSS to render unordered lists as tabs.

I like it. My first thought was that it seemed disorganized. But the more I looked through the list, I realized I liked it. Here is why:
It seems like most freeware places I've visited, the main page is mainly category lists, a few "featured" or highlighted programs, and then maybe the last X number of new/updated software. With things listed the way they are here, I saw some interesting things I may not have thought to look for.
For example, I travel internationally. It has not occurred to me to look for airline timetables to download. I knew they existed, I just didn't think of it.
Yes, you'll probably do something different as the list gets much bigger but this is just my opinion, FWIW. Best of luck, I will keep checking back there!

Looks great! I really like the new view, with the full size screenshots and easy to read text. But the old way of displaying the data was kind of nice too, so maybe you could create another page that shows everything in a table?
The <acronym> tags are wonderful. :)
BTW, it almost validates. The only problem: “there is no attribute 'bordercolor'”.

Great idea...Any suggestions as to how to provide links to both views?

Without the bordercolor attribute, the site loses the more asthetic(to me), heavy black lines. The black lines are replaced by the default gray, ugly border. I've looked for a workaround but haven't come up with a solution.

In your nk.css file:td.navigation {
text-align: center;
font-weight: 900;
background-color: #86ec59;
width: 20%;}
td.here {
text-align: center;
font-weight: 900;
background-color: #ffffff;
width: 20%;}
td {
text-align: left;
vertical-align: top;
background-color: #ffffff;
border: 1px solid rgb(0,0,0)}
Add this and Netscape and Mozilla users will get a mouseover effect (though not IE users, because the :hover event is not applied to anything but links in that browser): td.navigation:hover {
background-color: #5ea63e;}
Add this to the <table> tag: style="border: 1px solid rgb(0,0,0); width: 80%;"
Don't mess with the border attribute of <table>, it doesn't display correctly in Netscape and Mozilla.

I have decided not to touch the table cell mouseover effect. Thanks for the recommendation though.
Add this to the table tag: style="border: 1px solid rgb(0,0,0); width: 80%;"
This worked great using 2 pixel width. However, there is no border around the inner cells(the navigation area) now. I could use a little more direction. :) Thanks!

This:td {
text-align: left;
vertical-align: top;
background-color: #ffffff;
border: 1px solid rgb(0,0,0)}
gives a nice 2px border to everything when combined with the code I gave you for the <table> tag.

Thanks Tom!
It did validate, however the borders were too inconsistent for my liking. It seems that when 2 1-pixel borders are adjacent, a 2-pixel border is the result, looking thicker in some areas while thinner in others...
I've changed it back to the original consistent border.
Thanks for helping though!

:?: The way I did it, I had a solid 2px border around everything. See this example (http://www.geocities.com/heliosrobotics/pdahay/).

PDAHay is bye-bye, no more, bit the bullet, met its maker, kicked the bucket, six feet under, it is deceased. http://www.newkreation.com/images/tombstone.gif
Head over to http://www.pocketpcfreewares.com.
