View Full Version : SPB Pocket Plus: initial minor queries

Just registered Pocket Plus (largely as a hopeful fix for the WM2003 alarm bug), so these are probably pretty basic:
1. What are the figures shown in the Memory panel? For example, here they toggle on tapping between 10.0 MB and 44%. Yet the actual Memory window doesn't show any such figure, nor does the sum of Programs and Storage yield such a figure.
2. I have 'Storage Card Panel' checked, but only see my CF card, not my SD card.
3. Presumably the list of Today Plug-in items doesn't take account of any you already have under the built-in Today screen? (So you could theoretically end up with duplicates?)
Thanks,

I installed Pocket Plus on my 2215 for the same reason, to eventually unsatisfactory result.
The program worked well, did what it claimed it would, and did resolve the database file issue. Unfortunately it didn't agree with my 2215 in other ways. The unit began turning itself on at odd intervals and locking up-requiring a soft reset-far too often.
I had to turn to another solution. Scarybear software has a free utility on their website that is dedicated solely to correcting the database file issue. Installing that-and returning to my old favorite, Wisbar Advanced, to cover the other features of Pocket Plus-has successfully resolved the issue.

Thanks for the feedback. My initial optimism may prove unfounded then. If so, I'll try your alternative solution.

Tap-and-hold on the memory bar, and you choose whether it refers to program memory, storage memory, or both. I use "total" and am reasonably happy with its accuracy.
2. I have 'Storage Card Panel' checked, but only see my CF card, not my SD card.
Just tap-and-hold the storage card bar, and you can choose. T othe best of my knowledge, you can't have bars for both.
3. Presumably the list of Today Plug-in items doesn't take account of any you already have under the built-in Today screen? (So you could theoretically end up with duplicates?)
Such as what?
