Refurbished 5455 or new 5555?

I am wondering what experience anyone here has with refurbished Ipaqs. I am deciding on a refurbished 5455 (and upgrade it to WM2003) or a 5555. Both will probably come from Ebay since I can't justify the $650 price tag.

Hardware-wise, what's the difference between the 5455 and the 5555? I know there is no CIR in the 5555, but is the only difference the OS?

Please advise.

the consumer infrared feature, and the universal remote software, are very cool. don't know why they didn't include them on the 5555.

the OS is one difference between the models. the other main differences are processor and RAM. the 5555 has an updated XScale processor (I think.... the hpshopping.com specs don't specify the model number), though they both run at 400mhz. the 5555 has 128mb RAM and a 48mb flash ROM; the 5455 also has 48mb flash ROM, but only 64mb of RAM.
