File associations + PPC2003

Here is a minor problem I'd like to sort out. Changed my .txt file association to another program, didn't like it and switched it back to pocket word. Soft reset. Then... no original white txt icons... just the ugly generic one.

Back in January someone recommended PocketTweak here in this forum. I doubt it is safe to use on PPC 2003.

Anyway I can get around this without delving into the registry?

I think you'll have to use a registry editor. Change the value for hkr\txtfile\defaulticon\default to pword.exe,-110
