Whatever happened to JVC?

If my memory serves me correctly it was thought that JVC would be releasing their new PPC's in mid-September. Since the initial announcement I haven't hear anything though. Have these gone the way of the Gateway PPC, or are they just delayed? Has anyone heard anything about these? :?:
