The other day I noticed that my Blackberry 5810 and my iPAQ 2215 are roughly the same size. So, being that I've been looking for a good belt case for my 2215 (I've got the Belt Case from Casesonline but I don't like it anymore) I decided to try using the leather case for my Blackberry with my iPAQ. Lo and behold, a perfect fit!! It protects the iPAQ extremely well, makes it easy to carry around with me at all times, fits comfortably on my belt, and looks great. I thought I would share my experience with you all. Here's a link to some photos: http://www.markandarthasmith.com/rim.htm

Nice photos. :)
It does fit in snuggly, but it does look like it is easy to fall out. Might have to get a proper case once I get my 2215

I'm doing the same thing with the holster from my RIM blackberry 857. :) The holster in your pictures looks VERY SIMILAR to the one for the 857/957...
One thing... with the RIM 857,when you insert it into the holster, it knows and turns off the screen to save power. I always wondered how this was done... Well, I found it... there is a small, yet powerfull, magnet in the holster. This is what turns the screen off when its inserted.
Just to be safe, I removed that magnet... see the cut in the following picture for the location highlighted in white... http://marzano.home.att.net/images/Dscn0586-b.jpg
Oh, and for anyone interested, RIM sells this "Leather Holster" for the Rim 857 for $24.99us at https://www.blackberry.com/storefront/accessory.asp :)

It does fit in snuggly, but it does look like it is easy to fall out. Might have to get a proper case once I get my 2215 It fits snuggly enough to not fall out if I turn the case upside down. While holding it like that, it takes about 3 or 4 shakes to work the ipaq loose enough that it falls out. But then again, my holster has been loosened up over the last 2 1/2 years. It has been used everyday with my Rim 857 for work until I turned the RIM in (and kept the holster) back in July.
I work in the service group for a large company.. The RIM was an extremely important tool each day. A special application was written for us to do Service calls/parts orders/messages to other techs/report our time, etc... So the rim was CONSTANTLY in and out of the holster each day. (since I am no longer taking service calls, I turned my RIM back in, but kept the holster because of how well it fit the iPAQ.)
