What about a sticky tips topic?

I have finally upgraded my iPaq 5450 to WM2003 and am generally very pleased with the result.

There are a few unresolved quirks and things I remembered reading about here but try as I might I can't find the threads anymore.

One related to successive soft-resets causing the reminders database to grow to unwieldy size. The main trouble I find is that it is hard to frame a search query that is not so broad that every thread is returned or is so restrictive that nothing is returned.

So I thought maybe we could start a sticky tips topic that worked sort of like a FAQ where we could post little fixes and tips in one handy place?

Or am I being dim and this already exists here somewhere?

The sticky thread feature appears to be broken right now (look in the ebbok forum, the sticky that should be at the top is almost off of the first page)...
