I recently purchased a cable to connect my Earthmate GPS to my Ipaq 2215. I have problems connecting the two! I have called a few diffferent places and I am still confused! according to one source it is thought that you need to activate the com port in order to get it to work! (HP agrees) Others think it will just confuse it!! I am not sure about the Ipaq but I am sure confused!! Is there anyone out there with a connected GPS on Windows Mobile 2003 and if so please let me in on the secret!!!

I am using Mapopolis. Also today I did discover I can hook my nextel to the bottom connecter with my adapter and it seems to work! I know the GPS works because I can use it with my laptop. Which software would you reccomend I use? I have GPS Dashboard, Streets 2004 and Mapopolis. I also tried testing it using a termial connection and I do see garbage so I know its talking but its obviosly not communicating!
