Can anyone assist a PPC newbie??

It has been a while since I had anything approaching a Pocket PC (Psion Organiser).

Now I have an IPAQ5550 and wonder how I lived without it!

The question I have is can Mobile Windows 2003 handle Adobe Acrobat files?

There may be a very simple issue here that is eluding me or indeed it may be a plain NO.

Grateful for any thoughts.

Regards

Steve

There is a Pocket PC version of Acrobat Reader. I don't know if it's PPC 2003 compatible, however. You can download it from

Also consider a relative newcomer to the scene named RepliGo (http://www.repligo.com/). Their viewer is many times faster than Acrobat Reader and is available on many platforms. You'll have to purchase the creator/conversion software to do much of anything with any current files you have, however. There's a 14-day trial version, which I urge you to check out!

The Acrobat Reader for Pocket PC does work on 2003 devices. It enabels you to view pdf files that have been downloaded straight off the internet if you are using bluetooth or wifi to wirelessly surf the net. If you are using the computer however to transfer the pdf files to your ipaq then the documents will be "reflowed" which means that they text will "word wrap" to fit your screen. You can turn this feature off on the ipaq to view the ipaq normally and scroll if you choose.

My thanks to all for answering what seems to have been an easy one (to everyone except me - humbled!!!)

I hope I can return the compliment one day.

Good luck to all
