Ok, now onto the problem. This is the second time I have had this problem with my 2215 since I got it only a couple months ago. They machine has hard reset it self for no apparant reason. I was using my IPaq just a few hours ago. I had to the typical soft-reset because some apps were being funny but other than that all was working well. I pick it up just now to add some tasks for tomorrow and I am greeeted with the worst screen to a Pocket PC owner (well when it's a new machine it's probably the best screen ) That horrid welcome to PPC screen and lets calibrate the screen.

I had this problem with my old model, but only when I let the battery drain out. On my 2215 the battery is still decently charged when I have this problem. Currently it is showing 65% battery, and I know last time this happened there was still plenty of battery

Of course if I throw it in the craddle ActiveStink whines that I already have a parternship with this name and I'm toast. Why isn't there a simple way to restore the machine to its last known good state?? Some program's data (those that dont have a Desktop counter-part) are pretty much gone, unless theres a way to restore the databases somehow. In all seriousness, why in the world can't AS restore the machine (based on some unique identifier) to the last known good state when it detects a hard reset. :devilboy:

Help, anyone?!
