When using our ipaq/bluetooth/mobile phone solution for remote email in the UK, if we can't connect through gprs the backup is to use pay-as-you-go 0845 dial up to internet. There are many of these isp's in the UK, and all you need to use them for is to establish a connection to the internet at local rates. Is there an equivalent of this in the USA for when we are travelling there? The only solution so far has been to use AOL, but half the time this doesn't work and it's a pain in the *rse anyway to use. I assume you can get pay as you go dial up access to internet in the US no problem but is there a service that covers all states, or do you have to set one up for every state?
