With only two weeks left in September, I've heard nothing new about Socket's SD WiFi card! No reviews. No "first impressions". Nothing! Has the release date been pushed back?

its been available on expansys (http://www.expansys.us/product.asp?code=WLAN6060) for the last few days - but at $50 more expensive than the SanDisk one maybe that's why?

I avoided it because they don't support Pocket PC 2002, and I don't have WM2003 yet.

Got my Viewsonic Wi-Fi card the other day now I am just waiting for my Netgear router to arrive, which according to UPS should be today. I am very excited and I will probably post rests in the Viewsonic forum since I am pretty sure the drivers will only work for the Viewsonic device, but you can always email them and ask.

Wow. Quite a premium. Socket sells it for $149 on their website (http://www.esend.com/socket/product.asp?sku=WL6200-480).

I've also been leery of Sandisk's quality of late. However, a quick glance at Socket's forums (http://www.socketforum.com) shows quite a bit of customer dissatisfaction with their customer service. Low quality or poor customer care? What a dilemma.

I bought the SanDisk SDIO WiFi for $94.99. Loaded the WM2003 drivers into my 2215, and I really haven't had any issues with it, once I cleared all competing drivers out (DLink CF card). But I also have never had a problem with any of SanDisk's products, currently also have a 512mb SD, so knock on wood that I am so lucky with their products I guess.
