windows2003 rom flashing

hey guys, is it possible and/or legal to flash my viewsonic v35 with windows 2003 designed for my 2210?

This is highly unrecommended. The hardware that these two devices run is quite different. Therefore, you will, at the least, have lots of driver issues. It is possible that you will end up with a compeltely unuseable device that would probably not be supported by the vendor

I thought that the cd that comes with every ppc has the os for flashing purposes just in case some1 screwed up. am i mistaken or i could jusr screw up and flash it back with ppc 2002?

I haven't got my 2210 companion cd handy but I don't recall it having a copy of the ROM image on it.

With my past ipaqs if I did a ROM update, that utility came with a mechanism for backing up the old ROM from memory.

The problem you cpould run into is that if the ROM gets really badly fried by the installation of the worng ROm you may not bea ble to install the old ROM image.
