iPAQ 2003 upgrade CD's, anyone gotten the right one yet??

I got the correct CD for my h5455 on the first try. The upgrade was simple and I've had no serious problems since.

Got my yesterday for the H5455. I ordered 8/25. I was surprised I was able to upgrade using the usb sync cable.

:really mad: I originally ordered my 5455 CD on 7/8, received the wrong one on 8/25. Called HP right away, they issued a credit but I had to have them enter a new order that day.

Supposed to ship yesterday and receive today. Instead, I received an email yesterday that they won't meet that ship date, please let them know what I want to do, if I still want it, they'll let me know if they can't ship by 9/30. You bet I responded back immediately that I still want it.

How ____ hard can this be to ship a simple CD? Yeah, I know they had a big problem with switched CDs. No offense to folks like misha24 who ordered later and got it, but what kind of customer service is it to screw up and then give the victims the shaft by making them wait that much longer? Sorry for the rant...

Then HP did something to pleasantly surprise me... I just received the shipment confirmation email. It has a valid Fedex tracking #, so I'm not dreaming this.

I have to give them some credit, because I never figured they'd ship on a Saturday. I'll hold off on giving them a :way to go: until Monday evening when I can see if it's the right one, the upgrade goes well, etc.

Yes, got the right one today. It upgraded fine, so far, no glitches. :mrgreen:

Despite my peeves w/ HP over the whole thing, since I took the time to gripe both here and to them, I will also thank them for shipping on Saturday. (That still surprises me)

I was pleasantly surprised to get home yesterday to a package from UPS containing my 5450 2003 upgrade CD. I'm in UK, and didnt even know if my order was processed correctly. I have to admit I downloaded the upgrade AGES ago with no problems whatsoever, but I was adamant at the time I was only getting what i was entitled to. So at least now i have a licence for the software. Well done HP(at last)

I ordered mine 3 weeks before it came out and they delivered the right one to me.

I ordered my upgrade for my 5455 on 8/28, got it on 9/16. Worked like a top as far as the upgrade went. (Pocket PC 2003 does still have a few bugs in it.) 8O

I'm still waiting for mine, I ordered it from a local PDA retailer as that was the only way I could find.

I doubt it's ever gonna get here :roll:
