New to Pocket PC but hope to buy an iPAQ H5550.

I have a peer2peer windows home network with the computers conected via an 8 port 10/100 ethernet swithch, one computer has has a cable modem conected for net access (the others computers use ICS).

What other hardware will I need to make a Wi-Fi conection as painless as possible?

Thanks.

You have two choices, IMHO...

One is to buy a combination broadband/wireless router/access point that allows you to share your cable ISP, without ICS, and have a wireless segment on your network.

The other is to add a simple wireless access point to your existing network and continue using ICS. This is what I do. I added an ORiNOCO RG1000 to an existing wired network almost two years ago. At the time I had a Linksys BEFSR41 broadband router to share my cable ISP. This was also before the combination devices were available. Here is my current LAN which describes this second option, with my dialup ISP...

Personally, I would go with the first option since combination devices are cheap now, versus when I went wireless.

Search these forums and/or look at the http://www.practicallynetworked.com site for hardware reviews.
