I only have Palm Desktop...how to

Just bought an Ipaq 1945 and need to transfer my contacts from my Palm. I know you can sync from Palm to Outlook then to PPC.


However, my palm has been lost and I only have the Palm for the desktop. How do I transfer these contacts to the Ipaq. Thansk

You can do a few things...

Go into Palm desktop and export your contacts a a CSV file, then import into Outlook (be advised, you will have to tell Outlook what each field is)...

You can also export each individual contact as a vcard and just bring it into Outlook (doesn't require any input on your part)...

Either way, it will probably take you about the same amount of time...

If I were you, I'd do the CSV export. Should be quicker than the vCard route. Good choice on the 1945 :)
