Any Golfwits users? They s~ck now!

I bought the software a while back with the promise of FREE maps in the furture. Now they no longer offer free maps! Nope, no software upgrade, just started charging for maps. IMHO this s~cks. I am all for capitolism here...however change your "maps for FREE policy" to new customers, not for those of us promised them for FREE.

Golfwits, give me my $39.95 back so I can buy from a company that keeps it's promises!

I've used the GolfWits trial version and really liked the product.....just never got around to purchasing it and there seems to be less and less time for golf these days anyway.

I completely agree that you should have been "grandfathered"....if you purchased the application with the company's promise of free maps, they should honor that commitment. If they want to change the policy for new customers, that's fine too, provided they tell them that.

I'm wondering if they had too many folks download the trial version and then grab every possible golf course in their local area during the trial period. No, that's not what I did, but I'm sure they can easily analyze the download information on their webservers.....when they sell 500 copies of the software and see 50,000 course downloads, they have to wonder about their product strategy.....again, I don't agree with the change for existing customers.....just trying to figure out the reason for the change.

Have you contacted them for an explanation? If you find out what it is, please share.....
