hi all,
I just bought my new 2210 8) Great device !
I've an exchange server in the local network where i sync Inbox. In the bluetooth manager (the same in my 3970 with wm2003, seems it's the same BT manager in iPAQ devices) I've set up 2 connections to my Bluetooth Access point :
"Internet" : works good, I can sync to exchange server because I use the dns service of the server (1)
"Network" : It connects trough a network card, with this connection I can access to hard disks shared and I can sync to ActivSync on a pc with RAS. But I can't access to exchange server altough I've put the same dns in network card property (the "bluetooth PAN User Driver" network card). I've made a test : when i type my domain name in pocket IE I've the home page of the aBT ccess point not the IIS/Echange one's.
(1)Why should I use dns service of the server ? Because the access point is also the ADSL modem and when I type my domain name, it got its IP as target. To avoid I use the dns server in the local network.
So I've succed with my 3970 and dns settings as I 've described.
