Is there a good gps for the h1945, under 300$ would be nice.

You'll need to get a bluetooth GPS unit, so I'd recommend the Globalsat BT GPS + iGuidance software bundle (http://www.semsons.com/globbtgpswig.html) from semsons.com.
Clocks in at $299, and you get a free vent-mount.

A question about Bluetooth GPS units (or any PPC GPS unit for that matter I suppose), what's the signal strength like on these guys?
Would one be able to take the unit into a forest and still be able to get a GPS signal? Or mountainous area...
Thanks!

You'll need to get a bluetooth GPS unit.
Doesn't the 1945 host a serial port at the bottom?
If not quite out there are a couple of SDIO GPSs nearly so as well.

No. the 1945 does not host a serial port at the bottom. :(
You'll need to use an SD or Bluetooth GPS Unit.
Kind Regards,

You can use a GPS off road, but need to find proper mapping to use. Check out www.gpspassion.com, they seem to have as much information out there as anyone.
