I am in a bad mood because it took my dentist 2 hours to perform a 10 minute job. I was in the chair for an hour and a half.

Next time I'm having bologna and onions before I go.

...and make sure you've got plenty of MP3s loaded on your Pocket PC to listen to.

My dentist has a TV in every room. They hand you the remote as soon as you sit down and you're free to channel surf.

I have the best dentist. He's a little more expensive, but it's worth it. He always has the latest technology and is very conscious of inflicting as little pain as possible. Also, he's quite handsome.

I love going to the dentist.

I've been going to the dentist/orthadontist since I was six years old, so by now I'm used to the pain and discomfort. I try to go into a sort of trance to ignore what they're doing to me - it usually works, but having a Pocket PC with music helps to drown out the horrific sounds (crunch, splat, etc.). Bleh. 8O

I'm better now.

It wasn't painful, except for 2 things:
I knew my pocket pc was sitting in the car, and

about the time I got in the chair, all the coffee I drank that morning made it to the "end of the line"

Obviously, lessons have been learned. Next time...
