What is a Bluetooth headset used for, exactly? I clicked the link and I still don't know what you do with it?

Here you go:

You have your lovely PPC in your pocket and you can listen to music without any wires down the front of you chest to your pocket.

I think it is more to make/receive phonecalls ...
Listening to music with only one ear = no fun.

Eh, there is no "prescribed" use on the package!

Gawd! Have you ever worn one? I tried a competitors brand and it makes you look like a Cyborg. The Jabra is much niceer and barely noticeable.

Quite right. However, the sound quality of BT headsets is, to put it very mildly, lacking. It barely suffices for making phone calls; you really don't want to listen to the music through them, trust me (unless you are completely undiscriminating towards your listening repertoire) :(

It would be very nice though...

Cheers,
Rok

Just got an HS810.
It functions perfectly with the XDA2 except the earpiece hurts and the output is so bad the person on the other end of the call can barely understand me.

I have had a Logitech bluetooth wireless headset for the past 3 months. I have a SE T610 phone and bought this Bluetooth headset because I was constantly getting entangled by SE's wired Headset. Pairing this Bluetooth headset with the phone was a little bit of an adventure and frustrating at first. Just make sure you press "more" on the right hand side of the T-Mobile T610 phone and add it on in "Handsfree" mode. I initially just added the headset on generically without specifying the "Handsfree" mode and found the phone "deleting" the device after I would restart the headset and phone. But everything is now fine and stable in "handsfree" mode.
The sound quality is very clear and I find the range to be decent. Moreover, this bluetooth headset works very well with the voice tags on the SE T610 phone. One need only touch the multifunction task button on the headset for one second to activate voice dialing. It works very well in my car and inside my house. When I walk outside sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. The answer to that question is "Blowing in the Wind", as Bob Dylan would say. I have not tried the included microphone covers yet. Perhaps that will help when I'm outside in windy conditions.

I have had problems getting the headset to respond to the "Answer" and "Busy" Voice Commands on the SE T610. But that is not a major issue. I just answer calls now by touching the multifunction task button.

I recommend this headset. But it is very geeky looking. I don't have a problem with that like others might.

I have small ears so after 3-4 hours of use, I feel some discomfit so I have to change the headset to my other ear. Then it is fine.

It is the clarity of the calls that I am most impressed with. It is more clear than the included SE wired headset. Moreover, the less wires around to entangle my life, the better.

Some of the new PPCs are exposing the headset profile. I paired my Jabra quite easily with my Dell X30. It allows listening to things like Sync-n-Go content without disturbing others, will let you use some VoIP apps with the headset, and works with notepad recorder for both listening and recording. Basically it just re-routes the audio in and out of the PPC to the headset.

There actually are some BT stereo headsets showing up, and the reviewers seem to think they are OK. Problem is, they cost as much as my X30. I always have a problem buying an accessory for a something that costs more than the something.
