I'm using the 1945 and I can't figure out how to crop my photo to fit in the background of the TODAY screen. I know that with the 2215 it has a "PICTURE VIEWER" software, different than the "IPAQ PICTURE VIEWER", which lets you crop the picture as well as set the transparency of the image. Is there any way to carry out these functions on the 1945, if not, is there any third party(hopefully free) software that will do this for me? Thanks.

Is there any reason you can't use your PC to crop the images instead of your PPC? If you use your PC, you could just use good ol' MS Paint.

I don't know whether there are any free ones or not, but Resco Picture Viewer blows every other image viewer (and I tried them all except the one included in WM 2003) right out of the water (nearly instantaneous display of 1+ meg JPEGs and such). Plus, it includes basic editing options, cropping included, among other features. Check it out, there's a free 14-day trial.

Cheers,
Rok

Why do it on a PPC?

In my opinion, I think functions like that should be a given on the PPC. The ability to at least take any photo and have the PPC crop the image to fit it onto the TODAY page. I know my opinion is very different from reality, but again it's just my opinion. Thanks for the responses people!
