Does anyone remember Starflight?

It was a PC game back in the days of CGA 4-colour graphics. It was a space exploration game with a "story" to discover and several different alien races, each with their own agenda.

It also had a neat map (that I seem to recall you needed to play the game properly).

I don't have mine anymore, but I thought it would be a good candidate for a PPC version, especially as retro games are a popular choice, it seems.

Anyone else have fond memories of Starflight?

I used to have that game - or was it Starflight 2? I remember my version having at least 256-color graphics. Of course, I always seem to remember games having better graphics than they did...

I googled it and found a fan page (http://www.geocities.com/lorenzolio/starflight.html), and apparently the original developers are teaming up with fans to make Starflight 3 (http://www.starflight3.net/)!

Maybe we could conn them into a PPC version once they're done with the PC one?
