Hi All,
I've been struggling to work out this behavior for a while, and tried a few things. Hopefully somebody will know how to do it!
When my Toshiba E570 is in its cradle, powered off, and the PC is also powered off. When I hit the power on the PC, the toshiba wakes up (I presume this is as USB power has appeared) and sit on the password screen.

By the time Windows XP has kicked in and booted the Pocket PC has switched itself off, so if I want to make things work together i have to switch the pocket PC on, pull it out the cradle, put the password in, then put it back in the cradle, where it then syncs and works correctly!

Is it just me, or is that a major headache! So basically what I want:
1) Automatic power on with my PC, and stays on so it starts syncing automatically.

2) Can the password be automatically entered when its in its cradle??

hope that makes sense, thanks for any ideas/replies!

you need to power up your pc first, then connect your ppc...it is very bad for the ppc to be in the cradle during the pc boot...

hmm, thats strange. Can anyone explain *why* its so bad to keep the unit connected??

So everyone who has a PDA has to:
disconnect their PDA,
switch computer on
wait for it to boot
plug PDA back in
??
