I just got my 2215 and noticed that I didn't receive a manual for it. :(
How can I do a hard reset?

Note: I created a RAID O array and am now using it as my 1st boot drive. ActiveSync wouldn't sync with Outlook it until I uninstalled and reinstalled ActiveSync to the new RAID array. Then I had to delete the partnership and establish another to get things working again but I realized that I don't know how to do a Hard Reset in the process.

AFAIK, it's the same procedure as the iPaq 3835: while holding down the reset button, press the calendar and iTask buttons (in other words the most left and most right app buttons) at the same time. That should do it.
I'd love to test it for you, but I think you can see why I'd rather not... ;)

Thanks, fortunately I didn't need it ; but it's good to know how to do it just in case.
I think that I'll have to go back to CompUSA to inquire about the omission of manual.

The manual is in "x:\HP\DOCS\Ref\H2200Series.pdf" (replace "x" with your own CD-ROM drive letter!)

Just a comment. You do need to hold the outside buttons and the reset down for a bit to get it reset. Just pushing them all at once didn't do it for me.

From the Manual:

To perform a full reset: Press and hold Application Buttons 1 (Calendar) and 4 (iTask) on the front of the unit and, at the same time, use the stylus to press the Reset button on the back of your iPAQ Pocket PC.
Hold all buttons until the displayed image begins to fade (approximately four seconds).
Release the Application Buttons and stylus. (To verify a full reset, press the Power button. If the iPAQ Pocket PC has been fully reset, it does not power on.)
Reactivate the battery by:

*or*
Pressing the Reset button with the stylus.[/list:o:3d89a08a7a]P.S. The manual is also here (http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/CoreRedirect.jsp?targetPage=http%3A%2F%2Fh200002.www2.hp.com%2Fbc%2Fdocs%2Fsupport%2FSupportManual%2Flpia8007%2Flpia8007.pdf) for those who are too lazy to find their CD.
