Going to a cousin's Bar Mitzvah this weekend. Should be good to be back home for a little while at least.

Eating, sleeping, and combinations thereof.

Actually, I have PPC-related plans this weekend. I have a multimedia mount in my car that I use for GPS and for playing music. While it's nice, the arms annoy me (they rattle a bit), so I'm going to take it apart and graft a rhinoskin case to the multimedia mount and see if that looks and/or works better.

I anticipate that the operation will involve a dremel, velcro and much haxoring. :rock on dude!:

I've been away for a few months on a killer project...hubby is coming to visit so that I didn't have to waste time on a plane.

I plan on catching up, one might say.... :devilboy:

I'll probably be working at both my home and my office. I have a class to start teaching Tuesday...

My wife and I are in the beautiful Okanagan for her cousin's wedding. It's pretty neat actually. We got married here one year ago this weekend and this wedding is taking place at the same location and many of the services are by the same people. So we get to spend our anniversary weekend kind of re-living our wedding (but without the pressure). 8)

Sorry everyone in the Philly area, I'm hoping it rains tonight. The Metropolitan Opera (culture in South Jersey, whatever next?) are performing in the park near us, but I have another committment and can't go.

The rain date is tomorrow, when I can go, so let it rain!

Yes.

BTW - I'm very happy that *I* wasn't the one today to accidentally order the mini-octopuses dish. Yuck. ;)

I wish I had a Portuguese dictionary that had more food-related words....

You travel A LOT also ?

BTW, There is no business in portugal, only pleasure :p

Ah, I experienced that also. I once ordered a dish that sounds delicious, the description of the dish mentioned 'oyster with raw tomato and garlic spurred local made gravy' .. when the dish arrived, it is actually 'raw oyster with tomato and garlic' 8O .. Only then, I realized that one wrongly placed word can be really damaging.

From that time on, I learn to play it save. I always order something that I know (sushi, sashimi, udon, soba, spaghetti, barbeque something, fried something, etc.). When you feel adventurous, always bring a local person to dine with. :D

Here is a link to the Department of Labor (http://www.dol.gov/opa/aboutdol/laborday.htm) page about Labor Day. About the spelling, I can't please everyone you know. Humour is the only work I spell the UK way. I don't know why that is the only work but it is. It's weird how the brain works because I'm sure I was tought to spell it "Humor".

Thanks. Hadn't thought that most holidays are celebrations of battles or deaths...
