That's what clinched it for me. Mine's on pre-order. Guess the HP sleeve needs to last another month

I feel that maybe I purchased my Vaja case too early.... :(

My Bellagio case is able to sync fine with my 2210 in it. In fact, I don't think I have taken my IPAQ out of my Bellagio case since I got it. :)

Does the bellagio case have the hole for the headphone jack on top? That's a big concern for me, 'cause I use my ipaq pretty much daily as an mp3 player :)

Just a note for those of you who have never checked out a Sena case before. They are of very high quality and extremely good value for money. I would suggest the best overall buy for a leather case at the moment imho.

Does this case stop the action button from being pressed?
I have it set to turn the screen off, change the volume etc while I listen to MP3s, but sometimes it gets pressed while in the HP jacket

Does anyone know if there's access to the reset button? I'm returning my Krusell for this case. The Krusell doesn't really fit snug on the 2210. My last Krusell was so tight on my Jornada 565 that it was difficult to remove...

For those of you wondering what the back looks like I got this image off of the brighthand discussion.
http://discussion.brighthand.com/attachment.php?s=&postid=575079
That looks good. I gather the belt-clip version is not cradle-able though??
Just when I'm getting used to looking like a dork w/ the Ultra-clipped Vaja 2210 on one side of the belt and my trusty Krusell-clipped T68 on the other side...
Incidentally, must all Vajas be "worn in" for like a few months? I can never insert my 2210 fully into it, so just a bit of the bezel around bottom of screen is visible while the the leather covers a bit of the top screen. More importantly, the leather is too close above the D-pad that I have difficulty pressing "Up" on it. But seems Vaja designed this on purpose as I need to wear in the case, for the eventual perfect fit. I was also suggested to manually twist the case in some way...

hell no! My Vaja case sits perfectly.. I am so used to using cases with my other PPCs in the past where I have to press HARD when inserting the PPC into the case to get things to align. I found because of habit I was doing this to my Vaja case but its not required! I am most impressed with this case. I actually have a review to upload very soon. (practice my writing skills)

Umm... Why? Maybe I dont have much of a say in here because I am not a member but it is this kind of thing that would prevent me from ever being a member.
I am happily reading along about cases in this thread because I have a iPaq 2215. Then all of a sudden out of nowhere you come on and tell someone to move the discussion of another case to a different thread. I dont want to have to go searching and go to another thread to continue reading. So I am at a loss to understand why you would do this....
....unless this thread is actually a big commercial in disguise which is one of the things I was afraid of when this site went commercial. I dont mind that this site makes money. I encourage that but not if we are getting censorship, hyper moderating, and commercials disguised as news items.
Disappointed,

I think the reason is because this thread is a news item of a product from Sena. It's not fair on a company if it quickly turns into a news item for another company. There are plenty of threads on the different cases for h2215 which I'm sure you will find of more use as they will cover many other manufacturers. It just helps people reading the heading to know what will be covered without off topic items. I think you will find threads with a topic that doesn't identify one vendor only, much more useful. With someone like Steve around, you know if you are reading such a thread that all the information in it will be mostly relevant.
I'm really pleased with the Sena case for my Axim. If I end up with a 2215 I'm sure I would stick with these guys for this as well.
Nice feature being able to keep the Ipaq in the case while using the cradle.
It's good to see that Sena are making cases for a wider range of PPCs.

Do memory cards stick out enough that you wouldn't be able to close the case completely? What about wifi cards? I think I'm gonna skip on the Vaja and go for this one as well :)

Don't be dissapointed...
It's just that if you are having problems with your Vaja case, this really isn't the appropriate place to discuss it...
Now, if you want to compare the two... Go for it!!!

Robert, if you can point out a place where we've discriminated against non-subscribers or not taken what they had to say seriously, point it out to me. If you can't, don't condemn us for something we haven't done.
So I am at a loss to understand why you would do this....
It's a matter of focus. A thread should ideally be about one topic. Moderators help keep focus. In this case, it's Sena cases. This thread should be about Sena cases. It's a bit rude to the company in question when a discussion thread on their product turns into one about their competition. That said, I've personally given up trying to enforce that - I know that if we post about case "XYZ", people will talk about case "ABC" as well, just because they want to share their thoughts on it. Ultimately it doesn't matter that much, but if one of my moderators wants to keep two discussions seperate, I'll support him in that. Calling it censorship is ridiculous though  - it's not like the posts were deleted, they were simply moved.

It's not. We're not Sena affiliates, and if we were, you'd see the word "Affiliate" at the end of the post. There's no money being made from the post on the Sena cases, except hopefully by Sena if they sell some of their cases. :D

No posts were harmed during the making of this........
No posts were moved, nothing was split off. I merely asked that the people that wanted to discuss problems with the Vaja cases, start a new thread...
Now, let's all get back on topic...
I would love to see someone do a side by side of the two cases (Sena and Vaja)...
Anyone have them both???

Not yet, but now I am thinking about it. If I get a Sena, I will definately post my opionions on the differences.
(I think this is on topic)
I'd love a sync-able case for my Axim, so when I saw this post, I checked to see if Sena made Axim cases as well. They do, but you can't sync your Axim in the cradle. Is the 2200 cradle a lot bigger or something?
Anyway, you guys with the 2200s are lucky to have this, that's all I'll say!

That's right, the Axim has to come out of the Sena case to go in the cradle. It's not a huge deal since you can take out the Axim and replace it in a couple of seconds.
I like the feature of charging in the cradle while in the case for the 2215, that's a nice touch.

Done! I saw the picture and it sold me!
That is one sweet case :D
I like the magnetic closure on it, and the ability to sync with the case on... I might never remove my 2210 from the case. My usual routine is to get home take the 2210 out of the Krusell and back into the HP Crap case while at home.
I'm really pumped about this one... I was an inch away from the covertec too..

From the posts supporting the Sena cases, I assume they are a reputable company. I have a 2215 and am still looking for a good case. Is anybody troubled by them charging credit cards when the order is placed? I was under the impression it was illegal to charge credit cards until the items were shipped. Does them stating they are doing so make it legal?

In this case (no pun intended) I would think that paying up front is the price you pay for getting the 30% discount. For Sena, it means less $$ per case but it can only help their cash flow. There are a few companies selling PPC items that have been charging people's cards at the time of order without telling them. I don't know if it's illegal but it's not very nice. Sena tell you upfront so you have the choice, pay now and save a few bucks or wait and pay a bit more.
Sena have been around for a while, they only made Sony Clie cases at first, the Axim was their first PPC one. If I remember correctly, they had a pre-order deal for those as well.
The Axim case was in production when I ordered mine so it shipped right away. You can tell by the quality of the packaging and the product itself that they are a class company.
I'm glad to see these guys are getting some publicity. As I've posted before, I'm really pleased with mine. I hope they continue to make cases for new PPCs as they come on the market, because I would buy another without hesitation.
Sorry all for sidetracking the thread to my Vaja issues.
Per my original question, the belt-clip Sena 2210 is NOT cradle-able, correct?
Also, what about the most-important feature of all -- the battery cut-out flap?? :D

can you fit a socket/symbol wifi card on the Multi-purpose pocket?
If so, I'm sold on it!

Really interested in getting the Red and Tan one - funky! Though I was quite peturbed to see that non-US regular shipping charges are $19.99! Is this normal? :? Considering that the case is only $28.99 (with the 30% discount), I'm not sure that it's worth getting .. :(

What about color? What color do you all prefer? I like the black case but I think Sena could've done better by combining the black with the tan color. What's your favorite color combination on this?

I got mine on 9/22, just a couple of days after release. Not bad.
Anyway, I really like this case. It fits the 2210 like a tight glove.
To answer AndyD, there is no opening to allow for CF cards in the 2210 while closed. I don't really mind this as I always remove my Wifi card after I'm done using it. I don't like anything sticking out of my 2210 as it could potentially cause damage.
Anyway, I like this case. I like the magnets being used to close the case rather then the old method with the loop and button. I think I got my money's worth. Their customer service is very responsive as well.
FYI...I got the black case.
