can anyone give me some feedback on the 'scandisk' range of CF cards (and it is scandisk not sandisk by the way) I can get a 256mb for a very good price and was wondering if it was worth it.
cheers.

Kinda sounds like a knock-off brand. Kinda like the "Mountain Drop" soda. Some how "Pop the drop" isn't as cool as "Do the Dew"

Yeah that's my fear that I'm gonna get a cheap immitation. But in saying that if it works fine then I'd rather save the money. Good CF cards here in australia are criminally expensive..

I agree with dean_shan, a knockoff of a crappy brand (Sandisk) can't be good!
However, check their warranty plan. Sandisk has a excellent 5-year warranty; they'll replace a card if it stops working on you. If these guys have a similar warranty (at least 1-year) then go for it. Just make sure to backup your card every now and then
