Ok, I realy want the the ipaq 2210 but it doesn't have wifi. Does anyone know of any pocket pc with built-in wifi that I can get for $400 or less? I like the toshiba pocket pc, but I just need a little advice, thanks!

Well, you could always look for a used iPAQ 5455 or Toshiba, but what's wrong with a 2210 with a WiFi CF card? You still have SD for memory.

I've wondered the same thing, swapping out the mamory and WiFi cards gets to be a bit of a pain when you do it many times a day.

For me, the Tosh e750 would be the only one of the current bunch I would consider. I'm not thrilled by it though, so it looks like I'll keep the Ax until either the HP4000 series arrives or there is something new from Dell.

I am wondering, does dell let you return your axim and get all you money back (I have had my axim since december)? If dell makes some new pocket pc, do they allow traiding in your old one?

They have a 30 day return policy, so no. If your Axim breaks within the 1 year warantee period, they will send you a new or refurbished(their choice) version of whatever axim you have now, which would actually be an upgrade for you since it would have the 255 processor and WM 2003 on it, but they're not going to exchange one model for another. Plus the new Axims aren't supposed to start coming out until November, so that's almost not in your warantee period anymore.

Spend the money you were going to spend on a 2215, on a 256M SD card and a wifi CF card and save the rest for later!

Try the Buy and Sell forum for better response than you might get in this post.

I have personally traded my Axim for 5450 but now I am thinking I would have been happy with 1940. I don't use wireless that much and bluetooth almost never - it just seems like such a waste.

Just keep in mind, although the e750 is an excellent device, you probably aren't going to be allowed to upgrade in the future, because Toshiba doesn't care about customers that want to upgrade their current device.
They sell these devices with one of the selling points being a flashable ROM with the ability to upgrade the OS, but then they don't follow through and offer the upgrade. They would rather get you hooked on their device and force you to buy a new device, if you want the upgrade.

I know that there are many loyal Toshiba users despite this fact, and I'm not trying to take anything away from the quality of the device itself. It probably doesn't matter much to many people in these forums anyway, since a lot of people seem to upgrade every year or two anyway.

I have a 755 and used a 740 before that. I find the 755 to be a to wonderful device that does everything I need it to do for both business and personal use. The screen is large and as good as anything out there. The two expansion slots give full expansion capability and if you add the Toshiba expansion kit you have full VGA out and add a USB port to boot.

I have experienced nothing short of exemplary support from Toshiba and you will find many users who have continued to go from one Toshiba to another. Most of the negative comments you will see in forums such as this are from people who don't currently own Toshibas and in many cases never have.
