View Full Version : ActiveSync File Locations
Hi there. When I synchronize files on my PPC it creates a PPC My Documents folder on my C drive. Is there any way to change the location where the file is created? For example, I want the file to sync with my D drive rather than C drive.
Thanks in advance!

You could probably hack the registry to find this out, but it creates the file in your My Documents folder. You can move your My Documents folder to the D: drive by just cutting and pasting the entire folder. :-)

Change the location of your My Documents folder (right click on the desktop icon & select properties - it's in there somewhere), delete your partnership, disconnect your PPC, dock your PPC (thus creating a new partnership), & it should be in the new document folder you selected. You can then change your documents folder back, & your PPC folder shouldn't move (it didn't for me.)
Thanks guys. I'll try it out on Thursday at work.
UPDATE:
That was the correct solution for anyone else looking for it. I actually now synchronize all of my files on my Novell H: drive.
Thanks again!
