Batteryproblem with 3970

I'ld like know how iPAQ 3970's users can work with their PPC, with mine new 3970 I can work only for 2 hours :( really bad performance !

Sounds like a faulty or old battery to me... Is this a "new to you" but previously used PPC?

It's new (one month) directly from HP !!

My 3970 is about 8 months old, and If I am able to use it with the backlight on the 3rd lowest setting, I get more than 14 hours of use.
If it is about half way I get about 7 hrs of reading an ebook.
Of course times will vary depending on if I'm playing a game or reading or listening to mp3's.

Definitely sounds like a faulty battery.
