Help - how to surf while connected to my desktop?

I can't seem to get the Pocket IE browser to surf while connected to my desktop. I have an HP 1940 connected through USB to my desktop on high speed cable. What settings do I need to make to surf?

You can use ActiveSync.

Click "Tools" and select "options". Click on the "rules" tab. An make sure pass thru has Connection "The internet" selected.
