I'm currently using a D-Link DI-614+ WiFi router for my home. I recently purchased a D-Link DWL-900AP+ to extend my wireless network. If I purchase another D-Link DI-614+ Wifi router, can I setup the following to further extend my network range?

Why just don't buy a high gain antenna? :?:

Well, I thought that I can plug in wired PC's to the second 614+ router since it is too much of a pain to wire the home.
Also, would I get better reception just by using a high-gain antenna rather than using the repeater?
Sorry if these are dumb questions--I'm not too familiar with wireless networking.
