Ok, let's get confused again. Can someone please tell me the difference between an iPAQ 5550 and a 5555. Mobile Planet has both available (5550 at $595 and 5555 at $650). If it's just software or packaging (as was described with the 54XX series) then why the big price difference?

And please, why is everyone still selling the 5450 for $649.95. That's what I paid last December, but who is going to pay that now when they can purchase an improved device for less? Sorry, just needed to get that one out.

The difference is that they are sold by different mediums. One is suppose to be for consumers but the other for Business. But to answer your question the difference is none.

Who would by an older model for more money...let's think... :i got it: The Governemt (US).

Heh - I was at Best Buy last night, and they were selling an "open box" 5450 for $599.

Guess I shouldn't be complaining. I can sell my "almost year old" 5450 for say $579 and pick a new 5550, or was it 5555, for maybe $594. Not a bad deal.
