hi,
i have a problem with my ipaq 3630 running ppc2002. When I try to connect to the internet, it does not dial the wright number. Instead of *99**and so on, it puts a +0 in front of the number i try to dial.
How do i remove the +0 :?:
thanks in advance

Actually the +0 is ignored by the GPRS modem. If you cannot connect, ensure that you are using the number specified by your telco provider, not all of them used *99**.
If you are in asia, most GPRS dialup here are ended with an #. So the proper format will be *99**#.

Make sure you have the following in the Extra settings of your GPRS connection:
+cgdcont=1,"IP", "put here your APN"
You should also make sure you are dialling the right number. Make sure that no extra numbers are dialled... Go to your location settins in connection manager and change the settings accordingly

And for some telco provider, it is imperative that you put the APN name correctly. I was once had a problem of connection, until I realized that the telco APN is wwwapn.blablabla.com instead of the regular www.blablabla.com.
If all fails, go to your telco provider's website, and follow the full instruction there. Things that you should note are:
1. APN
2. minimum acceptable baud rate.
3. slip ?
4. software compression ?
5. IP header compression ?
6. most provider will use server assigned IP and DNS. check if otherwise.
7. extra dial-string (read petvas' suggestion above).
